Hello Guys! Welcome back, today's blog is something unique because today I am going to talk about some of the most Nutritive Indian Food.
As we all know Indian food is delicious, despite it's taste India is also famous for most Nutritive Food and Healthy Food, Indian Food contains all the required amount of nutrition in it. So today I'm going to cover some of the mouth watering and healthy dishes which can make you fit and fine. Indian Food tastes always good because it is made with heart. So my first dish is :-
1. Dal
- Dal a famous indian dish which is made with Lentils (dal) for example Moong, Arhar, Chana, Toor Dal etc. These are widely consumed with rice, and it is a good source of protein, fiber, Carbohydrates, etc. It contains almost 11 g of Protein in 100 g and nearly 4 g of Fats, the calorific value is almost 200 Kcal / 100 gm. It is really healthy and delicious. And also it is one of best source of energy. Different dishes of dal are • Dal Makhni, • Maa Ki Dal, • Kadhai Dal, and so on. And my personal favourite is a South Indian Dal known as Sambar Dal it has 50 Calories, 3 g of Carbs, 15 g of Protein.
2. Tandoori Chicken -
- Tandoori Chicken is one of the most delicious Chicken Dish which is actually gifted to India by the Mughals. It is marinated by yogurt, and includes various Spices. It is delicious and one entire leg piece contains 260 g of Calories, 13 g of Fats, 30.5 g of Protein, and 5 g of Carbs. The chicken is Roasted in Tandoor ovens, which give a nice flavour of Char Coal from it.
3. Idly -
An another South Indian dish which is actually very Healthy , I believe the South Indian dishes are more Healthy than any other dishes. So Idly is made with Rice and Black Lentils, it is steamed thus contains minimum amount of Fats or No Fats, 2 g of Protein, and around 8 g of Carbs. And Idly is accompanied by Sambar Dal and Coconut Chutney. It gives a boost of Energy and also feels your stomach full for long.
4. Egg Curry ( Anda Curry) -
Egg Curry it is an Indian Curry made by frying boiled eggs with some Indian Spices. It is served with a bowl of Rice as an accompaniment. Egg is one of the most Vital source of Protein it contains 12 g of Protein, 4 g of Fats, and 72 Kcal Calories. Egg is first boiled then Saute Ginger Garlic paste and Onions. Then put the eggs and fry the eggs well, then put the Indian Spices and at last add some water to it and cover it with lead and voilla your Egg Curry or And Curry is read to be eaten. A product with great taste and Nutritive Value.
5. Roti / Chapati / Naan - Roti / Chapati or Naan an Indian bread which is made with either wheat Flour (Atta ) or Refined Flour ( Maida ) or sometimes mixed together and used. Roti or Chapati are kinda same the difference is just Roti is little thick and Chapati is really thin. Naan is complete different to both Chapati and Roti, Naan is made with Refined Flour ( Maida) only and it is cooked in a Tandoor Oven. The similarity between all three are a dough is the base of them.
It contains high amount of Carbohydrate in it thus it gives good amount of Energy to out body. And is also eaten with accompaniment like sabji or dal.
So these were some of the most delicious and healthy Food of India, this time I couldn't write the recipes because if I have written recipes of all five dishes it would make the readers little bored.
