ALOO PARATHA
● Aloo Paratha an Indian dish which is consumed widely all over India and as well as in Pakistan.
● It is mostly consumed in breakfast with Indian pickles, Ghee, butter or some time with Dahi ( Curd).
● It is a kind of bread which is stuffed with Aloo / Potato. A paratha dough is mixture of wheat flour and Refined Flour ( Maida and Atta).
• It is simple and delicious dish nothing to worry about making it.
● So let us start with ingredients.
● Maida (Refined Flour).
● Atta ( Wheat Flour).
● Aloo ( Potato).
● Ghee / Butter.
So keep in mind that from one medium sized Potato we can make at least 2 parathas.
The quantity of the Atta should more than that of Maida. So generally to serve 4 people 250 gm of Wheat flour or Atta and approx. 150 gm of Refined Flour or Maida.
And we need 4 medium sized potatoes.
● Wash the potatoes properly and remove the skin and boil the potatoes in Pressure Cooker till 3 whistles.
● While the potatoes are boiling till that let us start with the preparation of dough. For preparing a dough we are going to mix 250 gm of Atta and 150 gm of Maida and add little salt to it. And then add little amount of water to kneed the dough. Once the Dough is ready keep the dough aside for at least 10 - 15 min
● After the dough is prepared check whether the potatoes are done, once potatoes are done, cut the potatoes into cubes and take a pan heat oil into it and add Cumin seeds ( Zeera) into it and also add little chopped onions and then saute till the onions are translucent and then add the boiled potatoes into the pan and fry the potatoes well.
● When the potatoes are getting ready till that we will start rolling the dough , make a medium size rolls, and start rolling and once the potatoes are done take a two spoon full of potato mixture and put into the rolled sheets and again roll it like a ball and finally make a rolled sheet using rolling pin.
• At last heat another pan and put the rolled sheets into the pan and heat the parathas for few min and then add butter into the pan and fry the parathas, do same with all the parathas
• So this is how The most FAMOUS INDIAN dish ALOO KA PARTHA is prepared, it is simple and delicious. You can have this with your friends and families , they'll be really happy to have Aloo Paratha in the breakfast.
• Note that do not boil the potatoes for long time if the potatoes get over boiled then it can not be used.
● Also do not over stuff the potato mixture into the rolled sheets or else it'll penetrate.
