Hello Folks! Welcome back to new recipe, today's dish is bit special for me, actually this b'coz I received a comment from my follower to make a dish which is made with chicken. I feel really happy to make a blog according to you guys , so comment more and more and let me know what you guys want me to cook and post for you guys.
So Chicken Jalferezi is a great Indian dish, where Jalferezi is kinda masala (spice) which is used in every meat dish such as Fish or Chicken Or any other white meat. This dish is easy and actually takes a little less to prepare as compared to other chicken dishes. I have eaten and prepared lots of Chicken dishes but this is my personal favourite beacuse it is really easy and take less time. We can use any portion of the chicken but I have used Chicken Drumsticks ( leg piece ). Chicken Drumsticks is the most Fatty part of the body so I love this part. So now let us jump to the Ingredients. This dish is a kind of little dry Masala
Ingredients :-
● Chicken Drumsticks ( 500 g ).
● 1/2 Tsp Kasuri Mheti ( Dried Fenugreek Spice ).
● 1/2 Tsp Coriander Spice.
● 1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder.
● Curd ( 50g - 100 g ).
● Carom Seeds. ( Zeera ).
● Cardamom ( Ilaichi ).
● Salt ( to taste ).
● Chopped Tomatoes.
● Red and Green Bell peppers . (Capsicum).
● Sliced Onions.
So now let's see how to prepare a marination for the chicken , to marinate the chicken we need is • Kasuri Methi.
• Curd.
• Chicken Drum sticks.
• also add salt.
• Also we can add Lime juice to it, it will give a tangy taste to it.
Mix all the ingredients for marination and at last add the Chicken drumsticks. Also add Pepperica and a table spoon of oil. And at last keep the Marinated Chicken into the Fridge for an Hour or so.
Now let's start with the Curry Preparation.
Take a Saucepan and switch on the Fire, as it is an Indian Dish so we are going to add Ghee into the pan , then add Carom seeds and Green Cardamom, then add the sliced onions and let it caramelize a bit, once the onions are translucent we are going to add the red and green peppers. Sauté all the products for few minutes and then add the chopped Tomatoes, let the tomatoes release the juices from it • Till that we are going to take our Marinated Chicken Out of the Fridge , and once the Tomatoes releases the juices , straight away add the Marinated chicken into it, then cover it with lead, let it cook at highest temperature for 5 - 10 minutes and then simmer it for 10 to 15 min. So this is how we have prepared the Indian Chicken Jalferezi, it took me hardly 25 - 30 min to prepare the whole dish. Now we are ready to serve this in plate. We Indians love to add Cilantro ( Dhaniya ) to give a nice Flavour and Aroma to each product. Chicken Jalferezi has really Rich and Intense Taste. I am sure everybody would really love to have this at lunch and dinner, this would really taste better with Rice and also accompany it with little onions and garnish the product with Coriander leaves.
